Mel - your business cheerleader

Hello, it’s lovely to e-meet you. I’m Mel, owner and creative mind behind Maze Marketing. A boutique consultancy focused on helping businesses to reach their potential.

My son once described me as a cheerleader for businesses that I work for and he’s spot on.

I started Maze Marketing because I love helping people promote what they do, tell their story and grow their business. And do so in a practical and effective way.

The idea to start my own business sparked from a joy of talking about all things marketing. I was chatting with a small business owner about ways to attract more customers and it got me thinking….I want to have more of these conversations.

I knew that I could package up almost 20 years of experience in the marketing industry into something truly helpful. So that’s what I did.

I began with a vision to develop marketing plans for businesses, then quickly realised that my writing skills were in need as well. Over time my love of talking about marketing grew into teaching and a new passion was sparked. This is how the Maze Marketing that you see today was formed.

Brenna - the social media guru

Here at Maze we love social media and helping businesses to embrace this marketing tool. 

Brenna is our go-to for all social media. She loves coming up with ideas, making plans and producing material that our clients can be proud of. She's all about creating content that is engaging, visually appealing and goal driven - and our clients are here for it! 

She's also brilliant at creating eye-catching newsletter layouts and keeping up-to-date with all the digital marketing trends.

Viktor - The numbers guy

Viktor is Mel’s husband and co-owner of Maze Marketing. As a Chartered Accountant who has worked with businesses of all shapes and sizes, he offers valuable insight into the financial side of things. Quite frankly, he’s seen a lot, knows a lot, and is a great extra resource to tap into. He especially comes in handy when creating marketing budgets and setting growth targets.

You will also occasionally see Viktor presenting at our workshops and moonlighting as a photographer when we need more marketing photos.

Viktor has an accounting practice called Maze Accounting and shares the home office with Mel. This means that when you visit our office, you’ve got a marketer and accountant available to answer your questions - how handy is that?!

Enzo - Security, Greeting and Wellness Officer

Anyone who has visited our office will know that Enzo takes his role very seriously. His miniature schnauzer instincts to guard are strong and he keeps are watchful eye on the goings on in the office. There is no need for a doorbell when Enzo is around because he makes sure everyone knows that a visitor has arrived. After an initial security sniff check, Enzo will enthusiastically welcome our clients and ensure they are settled in before the meeting begins. If it's a cold day, he'll add in a snuggle to keep our visitors warm. He offers the ultimate in hospitality but don't let his cuteness fool you....he's a big tough security guard inside.

Enzo also takes the wellness part of this role seriously by checking on his employers to ensure they're ok, and making daily walks compulsory. Essential for people who sit at desks for long periods of time. He truly has a heart of gold and is the best office dog an employer could ask for.
